Despite his reserved nature and preference for solitude, Scratcher shows a level of understanding and patience by allowing Stella to express her frustrations and emotions through him. He even permits her to scratch him, which indicates a level of trust and acceptance of her behavior. This dynamic between Scratcher and Stella highlights a unique relationship where Scratcher provides a silent support system for Stella’s expressive tendencies. Stella might not say it openly, but she and Scratcher are actually quite close friends. Although she never voices her feelings or acknowledges the bond directly, her actions tell the story. Neighbor Girl

Neighbor Girl is a sweet girl who has a soft heart towards needy animals, often going out of her way to help them in any way she can. She has fostered many animals over the years, providing them with a safe and loving environment until they find their forever homes, but she actually adopted two pets of her own, Ruff and Pretty Kitty, whom she loves dearly. Pretty Kitty is a fancy cat with a bundle of energy, while Ruff is a calm and affectionate pup who enjoys snuggling. She likes to visit shelters regularly just to play with the needy animals, offering them companionship and attention, and often dreams of eventually creating a sanctuary where all animals in need can find refuge and love.

Doc

Doc is Stella’s Vet, and let’s face it, she’d rather behave, which doesn’t happen often, than set paw in his office! The usual visit to the clinic is filled with a mixture of anxiety and curiosity, as she can often sense that something’s about to happen that she won’t particularly enjoy. Each time stella hears unfamiliar sounds approach the door or the ding from the elevator, her ears perk up, and her tail tucks slightly between her legs, a clear indication of her reluctance. She knows a visit to see Doc is approaching. After this chaos of getting to the office Stella will sense the sterile smell of antiseptic mixed with the distant sound of barking dogs resonates in her mind, reminding her of the last time she was there. Still, once inside, she receives a comforting pat and a treat from Doc, who knows just how to coo at her to soothe her frayed nerves, making the experience just a little less daunting.

Hallway Monster

The Hallway Monster haunts the hallway elevator. Every time you hear the elevator yell out “ding,” it’s the monster’s dinner bell—time to feast! He’s always scouting for his next snack, so you’d better lock those doors, or you might just end up as his surprise platter! Some of the neighbors claim he’s purely a figment of our overactive imaginations, but really, how do you explain all those people that mysteriously vanish when the elevator doors close? Pure coincidence? I think we all know better!

The Stella Club

Meet Tim, the President of The Stella Club, a delightfully eccentric member that throws confetti at anything even remotely related to Stella—because who knew her quirks could be so entertaining? He adores Stella for her laugh-out-loud antics that unfold in every story, turning ordinary events into delightful comedy shows where you can’t help but giggle at the unexpected hilarity.

Snail

Snail proudly won first place in the highly anticipated turtle fun run, much to the delight and surprise of the spectators who had come out to cheer for their favorite racers. The crowd erupted in applause as Snail slithered across the finish line, showcasing remarkable speed and agility for a creature often underestimated. However, the triumph was short-lived, as the event’s organizers quickly reminded everyone that the competition was strictly limited to turtles, effectively uprooting Snail’s dream of fame and glory. Snail pondered his life choices in the midst of a cheering crowd, unfortunately, he lost the title soon after and is unable to compete against the turtles ever again. Despite this setback, Snail’s determination and spirit shone brightly, reminding all that it’s not just about winning but also about enjoying the journey, even if that meant being the odd one out—and the unintended comic relief—among the turtles in such playful competitions.
